Maciej Korzym could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Kasper Schmeichel made a huge save. With his leg Kasper Schmeichel managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Korona Kielce's Stephen Duxbury fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stephen Duxburys short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Kasper Schmeichel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Korona Kielce's Gary Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzman Tzankov in the 17th minute of play. Gary Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Gerard in the 20th minute of the match. Kasper Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Sobolewski in the 21st minute of play. Momchil Isporski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Maciej Korzym received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kasper Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gary Ingram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyudmil Sechenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг were awarded a corner. Karamfil Tutev went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Karamfil Tutev to fire away a dangerous shot which Gary Ingram despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gary Ingram came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Steven Gerard. But to his dismay, Steven Gerard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Steven Gerard made a precise shot to the right of Gary Ingram. Korona Kielce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 36 minutes, Ganyo Idakiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг and the Korona Kielce players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Korona Kielce's Maciej Korzym slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kasper Schmeichel. That made the score 1-2 after 38 minutes of play. 43 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzman Tzankov came free, but Gary Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stephen Duxbury made the kick off in the second half. Lyudmil Sechenski's late challenge caught a Korona Kielce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lyudmil Sechenski helped the player get up and apologised. Lyudmil Sechenski kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Kasper Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Duxbury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karamfil Tutev during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karamfil Tutev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korona Kielce's Marcin Cebula was substituted for Lee Sissons. Kasper Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Kielb, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephen Duxbury in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Schmeichel saved ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг from getting behind. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Stephen Duxbury sped through ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kasper Schmeichel. ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Steven Gerard got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Simon Wray replaced Edi Carlo. In the 66th minute, Stephen Duxbury ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Gerard didn't get a good kick on the ball.
