When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Stephen Duxbury put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maximiliano Bittor. After 8 played minutes Korona Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Furniss. Justo Onofre hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The excitement rose when Korona Kielce's Nial Todd after 16 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Perico City Grup's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Stephen Duxbury sped through Perico City Grup's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximiliano Bittor. Stephen Duxbury blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Bittor having to make a save. Stephen Duxbury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Bittor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Maximiliano Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Duxbury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 27th minute of play forced Perico City Grup's goalkeeper Maximiliano Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Perico City Grup getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Everardo Guerrero hit a great ball. Perico City Grup's Maximiliano Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Fidel Toli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gary Ingram. Korona Kielce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Toli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Stephen Duxbury sped through Perico City Grup's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximiliano Bittor. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephen Duxbury made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Stephen Duxbury ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Bittor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Stephen Duxbury received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Bittor came out and tried to block the shot, but Stephen Duxbury slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 59th minute. Korona Kielce's Jacek Podgórski was substituted for Lee Sissons. After having played for 70 minutes, Virgilio Petrigai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perico City Grup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Petrigai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Marcin Cebula replaced Maciej Korzym. In the 76th minute of the game Pawel Golanski made a throw-in which Marcin Cebula played forward. Marcin Cebula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maximiliano Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Perico City Grup getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fidel Toli hit a great ball. Maximiliano Bittor was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Stephen Duxbury capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stephen Duxbury really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Stephen Duxbury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Bittor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Stephen Duxbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Stephen Duxbury managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korona Kielce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephen Duxbury was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Korona Kielce's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
