The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Itoafă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renatinho Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Onaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Perez in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Prado in the 12th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Denis Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Dida Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cazimir Pânzaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Renatinho Cordeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Túlio Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Pânzaru got free with Renatinho Cordeiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Matei Onaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Valle struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Denis Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crisólia FBPA. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis da Rocha in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Ghee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Valle. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Prado came free, but Denis Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Prado in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis da Rocha made a kick off. Denis Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis da Rocha in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Eugênio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Irinel Itoafă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crisólia FBPA the free kick. Ruy Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruy Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Clóvis da Rocha put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Ghee. After 65 minutes, Clóvis da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crisólia FBPA and the Stiinta-Univ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis da Rocha. After 68 minutes, Clóvis da Rocha made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho Motta during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Irinel Itoafă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renatinho Cordeiro. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renatinho Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Magno de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Magno de Amaral got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Crisólia FBPA's zone, Cazimir Pânzaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Cordeiro came out of the goal and Cazimir Pânzaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Stiinta-Univ. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
