In the 14th minute, Luiz Gustavo Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Losito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Claudio Lenci in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celsinho Vander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 19 played minutes Old BaoBaB Accademy got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Petrocchi. When AFC - Curitiba's Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Claudio Lenci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Camillo Petrocchi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celsinho Vander. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Luizão Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Claudio Lenci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Celsinho Vander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Allan Furlan got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dino Losito came out of the goal and Jano Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Aurelio Rozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celsinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Lenci, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Lenci came free, but Celsinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Lenci in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Vander saved AFC - Curitiba from getting behind.
