Abad Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Simone having to make a save. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Antonio Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abad Santos in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th minute, Abad Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baudilio Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mandrake fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baudilio Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Castronovo to maneuver through the defense. If Abad Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Ryberg. 29 minutes into the match, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Ferruccio Castronovo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abad Santos in the 34th minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Antonio Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abad Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edwin Ryberg struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Antonio Simone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandrake fc. Abad Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastián Campoamor kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abad Santos made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Mandrake fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Millán Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abad Santos in the 56th minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Antonio Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Anthony Tonon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandrake fc the free kick. Abad Santos came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antonio Simone could save by the left post. After 64 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Campoamor. 66 minutes into the match, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Antonio Simone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abad Santos. When Mandrake fc's Abad Santos in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalie prevented a goal. After 72 minutes, Xavian Quintero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandrake fc and the A.S. Ian Fenomeni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Xavian Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Ferruccio Castronovo tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Duardo Reyes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Ferruccio Castronovo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Abad Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Antonio Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.S. Ian Fenomeni were furious when Antonello Di Paola was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Antonio Simone, was totally fooled by Mandrake fc's Leonardo Serrano, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 98 minutes of play, Mandrake fc's Abad Santos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Simone was left in no man's land by his defense there!
