Fidel Joachim started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Hori charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Hori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Llavallol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Hori to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, Llavallol FC's Danilo Frichoso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert-Jan Hermensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freek Saarloos took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Magdaleno. Hernan Magdaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hernan Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huib van der Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hernan Magdaleno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenik de Vos went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Giovanni Rademaker might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Magdaleno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Rademaker ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Huib van der Gun made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Llavallol FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mateo Tolino hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Llavallol FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Tolino. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Llavallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Huib van der Gun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NFC Eagles 22 and the Llavallol FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. NFC Eagles 22's Huib van der Gun got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Giovanni Rademaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Tolino hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Freek Saarloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NFC Eagles 22's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
