An unexpectedly hard shot by Huib van der Gun in the 3rd minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Paul Stanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Lartaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Stanley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Rademaker in the 10th minute of the match. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Lartaun in the 11th minute of play. Raul Roland took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Huib van der Gun came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the NFC Eagles 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huib van der Gun couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Freek Saarloos. If Huib van der Gun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After some careless play in the NFC Eagles 22 defense, Ian Clementsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert-Jan Hermensen should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Luis Zárate. 60 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Rademaker came free, but Paul Stanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huib van der Gun in the 62nd minute. Robert-Jan Hermensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Psycho-Circus's Nicasio Savion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert-Jan Hermensen. That made the score 1-5 after 65 minutes of play. Huib van der Gun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Stanley having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's Huib van der Gun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Stanley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert-Jan Hermensen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ian Clementsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 78 minute of play. In the 82nd minute Huib van der Gun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Stanley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Clementsson took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Psycho-Circus's Nicasio Savion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert-Jan Hermensen. That made the score 1-8 after 90 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Psycho-Circus defense, Huib van der Gun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Stanley. The Psycho-Circus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Stanley should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Psycho-Circus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NFC Eagles 22.
