The supporters of Psycho-Circus booed when ABK Black Warriors73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Doinaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ian Clementsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Waldir Gaúcho however easily saved by the left post. In the 11th minute Marcelino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ABK Black Warriors73's Waldir Gaúcho got control of the ball when Ian Clementsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. ABK Black Warriors73's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Clementsson in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Lartaun. A collision led to Psycho-Circus getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fernan Eufemio hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Virgil Doinaș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Stanley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Lartaun came free, but Waldir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Manolescu. 28 minutes into the match, Luis Zárate sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Waldir Gaúcho threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Luis Zárate this time. Paul Stanley came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ABK Black Warriors73's Pavel Hristea. But to his dismay, Pavel Hristea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denver Koch during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ABK Black Warriors73's Waldir Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save ABK Black Warriors73 from getting a goal against them. Denver Koch hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Pavel Hristea got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Paul Stanley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Selmo in the 53rd minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Paul Stanley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Stanley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Filimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ABK Black Warriors73's zone, Marcelino Lartaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Gaúcho came out of the goal and Marcelino Lartaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st match minute, ABK Black Warriors73 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaplan Damjanović to maneuver through the defense. Psycho-Circus's Nicasio Savion was substituted for Marcelino Lartaun. Psycho-Circus made a substitution. Rolando Koldo replaced Raul Roland. In the 65th minute Ian Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Denver Koch. After 67 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Călin Arnăutu. After 69 minutes ABK Black Warriors73's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Zárate who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luis Zárate got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waldir Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. ABK Black Warriors73's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Savion in the 73rd minute of play. Celedonio Selmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Paul Stanley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Selmo got free with Paul Stanley in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Stanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Selmo in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to ABK Black Warriors73 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dan Filimon hit a great ball. Waldir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Matteo in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ABK Black Warriors73 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
