The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Cedro came free, but Paul Stanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Lartaun in the 14th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Benicio Gudesteo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Calderón in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Stanley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Psycho-Circus's Paul Stanley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Calderón in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Psycho-Circus booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan José Van De Gucht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Calderón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Calderón in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Stanley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Matteo in the 64th minute of play. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Psycho-Circus's Osmane Molhamam was substituted for Emiliano Umbruso. Pan FC's Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Clementsson in the 71st minute of play. Ezequiel Calderón struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Paul Stanley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. 81 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Paul Stanley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Calderón. Arnaldo Cedro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Paul Stanley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. Paul Stanley was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ezequiel Calderón capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Calderón really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ezequiel Calderón struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Paul Stanley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC.
