In the 6th minute Einar Sävström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kees Veentjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Verwachting defense, Einar Sävström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kees Veentjer. The Verwachting fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kees Veentjer should have stopped the shot. Kees Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Ganix in the 12th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Romulo Izel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potencial Desperdiciado F and the Verwachting players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Romulo Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Radu Proca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Potencial Desperdiciado F from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teagan Petukas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraido Treviño in the 28th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Kees Veentjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Frans to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Potencial Desperdiciado F's goalkeeper Radu Proca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk-Jan Opdam. Hugo Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kees Veentjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Veentjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraido Treviño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verwachting's Kees Veentjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraido Treviño in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Lammers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ron Lammers kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Radu Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Zoontjens in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Sävström to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Theo Zoontjens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verwachting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potencial Desperdiciado F the free kick. Verwachting's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Iraido Treviño scored to the left of an out of position Kees Veentjer, making the score, 0-3. When Potencial Desperdiciado F's Iraido Treviño in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraido Treviño in the 87th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Kees Veentjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Zoontjens, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Theo Zoontjens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Radu Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Zoontjens, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Hugo Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Potencial Desperdiciado F had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
