Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Didier Lefebvre managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 21 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Costel Brănescu. Killian Charbonnier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didier Lefebvre made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Nistor Iftimescu sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Bonnet hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nikulás Benediktsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Killian Charbonnier in the 37th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Killian Charbonnier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mans booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Rizea didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ageorges in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iulian Şteflea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute of the match Adrien Andreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikulás Benediktsson skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Mans's Kevin Signoret got a free kick in the 61st minute. Didier Lefebvre came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Vertigo's Aurelian Mănescu. But to his dismay, Aurelian Mănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Galiceanu during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Galiceanu. Roland Ageorges charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Ageorges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 minutes, Dumitru Teodoroiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Vertigo and the Mans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dumitru Teodoroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The long shot by Killian Charbonnier in the 75th minute really tested Nikulás Benediktsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mustapha Rouillon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Mănescu in the 82nd minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Didier Lefebvre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Ageorges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikulás Benediktsson having to make a save. After 90 played minutes, Mans's Ahmed Drieu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mans reached it. 91 minutes into the game, Kevin Signoret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Vertigo the free kick. After 92 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's Aurelian Mănescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didier Lefebvre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Vertigo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
