Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Wolf Poll successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Michel Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Jäger, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Arvid Wacker got a free kick in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as XV de Piracicaba's Remo Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wolf Poll. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. After 18 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Wen Yong Sha. 21 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Elis Färber came free, but Michel Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Jurdan in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Günther Scharpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes XV de Piracicaba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elis Färber who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Elis Färber got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michel Pernambucano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yuri Tasso hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. XV de Piracicaba's Michel Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Jäger in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Hernani Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Gonzalo Jurdan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wolf Poll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41stth minute of the game Gonzalo Jurdan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiger's Wolf Poll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Scharpe in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Scharpe came free, but Michel Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günther Scharpe to make the kick off. Michel Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Jäger in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Tor Jäger got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Tiger defense, Remo Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolf Poll. The Tiger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wolf Poll should have stopped the shot. Tiger's Antonius Zagermann was substituted for Olgierd Lato. Wolf Poll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolf Poll having to interfere. In the 70th minute Hernani Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wolf Poll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernani Nunes's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Hernani Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tiger defense, Hernani Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolf Poll. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günther Scharpe in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Pernambucano saved XV de Piracicaba from getting behind. Arvid Wacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Michel Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Jurdan in the 86th minute of play. Mateus Pimenta hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Wolf Poll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jurdan in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the XV de Piracicaba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
