After 20 minutes of play, XV de Piracicaba's Remo Goiano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Montez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Michel Pernambucano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of FrenaHayBache booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Montez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. XV de Piracicaba's Haruna Hassan was substituted for Túlio Jacinto. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FrenaHayBache. XV de Piracicaba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
