The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fermin Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Júlio Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Salvino was a little too slow when Mário de Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Pedrinho Porto fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Pindorama Eagles's protests and gave Pedrinho Porto a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Júlio Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Cruz in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Brion. Virgílio Cunha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Salvino. Japy Man's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Cunha in the 38th minute of play. Isidro Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Cruz made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Mário de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aga Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Luisito Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Pindorama Eagles. 68 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Chago came free, but Júlio Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Japy Man booed when S.E. Luisito Salvino came out of the goal and Pedrinho Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Japy Man were awarded a corner. Geir Alstad went to the cornerflag to take it. Mário de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Luisito Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Pindorama Eagles. In the 95th minute of the match Virgílio Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Salvino skillfully saved the ball. Japy Man's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because S.E. Pindorama Eagles had won, even though Japy Man had held more of the ball.
