Richard Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maravilla. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Luís Eduardo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Sal came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ademir Pena hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Maravilla's Virgilio Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Paraense in the 42nd minute of play. Saul Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Samuel Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Richard Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Vasco's late challenge caught a OxentePaisa Salcity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Maravilla's Virgilio Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Siqueira in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Saul Unax got a free kick in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Haroldo Frutos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Lopez. In the 78th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Vasco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of OxentePaisa Salcity booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Danel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Samuel Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee showed Alessandro Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Maravilla were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant OxentePaisa Salcity side.
