The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jorge Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvis Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dagoberto Escobar was slow to take the kick. During this time U.D. Mancini's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on U.D. Mancini's corner Dagoberto Escobar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito Cardozo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute, Décio Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elvis Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Romeo Rienda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Cardozo having to make a save. Jeremias Lima made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nuno Linhares immediately put the ball in play. In the 37th minute, Romeo Rienda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvis Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldair Code in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute David Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aldair Code had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute of the match U.D. Mancini got a corner. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dagoberto Escobar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tello Calvo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Vito Cardozo did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Rienda to make the kick off. When U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mancini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Rienda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U.D. Mancini's Abelardo Alacuart was substituted for Ebardo Acha. U.D. Mancini made a substitution. Cugat Riells replaced Hugo Portillo. David Berger's late challenge caught a U.D. Mancini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Berger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Sacode Football CIMZ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. David Berger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Rienda in the 67th minute of play forced Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Vito Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dagoberto Escobar who took care of the corner kick. Dagoberto Escobar made a great header on U.D. Mancini's corner, it was just that Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Vito Cardozo managed to reach the ball for a save. Romeo Rienda scored 2-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Vito Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Rienda went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Alacuart. Romeo Rienda might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Cardozo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Rienda ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rienda came free, but Vito Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 94th minute, Dagoberto Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvis Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldair Code, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
