Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sólbjörn Guðnason got the match started through his kick off. Sólbjörn Guðnason might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Hodneland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sólbjörn Guðnason ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarl Kormáksson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin Hodneland saved Saga TF from getting behind. In the 26th minute Ámundi Hallmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Hodneland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Sólbjörn Guðnason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvin Hodneland was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Saga TF's Jens Garberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sólbjörn Guðnason's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Edvin Hodneland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 42 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Ámundi Hallmundsson came free, but Edvin Hodneland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Hodneland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Kormáksson in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens Garberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens Garberg charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Garberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens Garberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Skarphéðinn Ormarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens Garberg. Edvin Hodneland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 69th minute of the match. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Garberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 80th minute of play. Edvin Hodneland came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Æsir Ásgarðr's Ámundi Hallmundsson. But to his dismay, Ámundi Hallmundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Edvin Hodneland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Sólbjörn Guðnason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Hodneland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's Jarl Kormáksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin Hodneland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 93rd minute of play. Sólbjörn Guðnason took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin Hodneland. Edvin Hodneland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Æsir Ásgarðr had won after a very even match.
