The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Orlandus in the 3rd minute. 10 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ugaitz came free, but Jonathan Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Felix Orlandus took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Zanette to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Zanette made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Feliciano Telo sent off a good shot on target. Marciano Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Toscano in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes La Pachorra LSF got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Telo. Nicolas Mirande was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of La Pachorra LSF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Pachorra LSF. In the 27th minute, La Pachorra LSF's Feliciano Telo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 32nd minute Claudinho Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Pires in the 34th minute of play forced La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Marciano Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Quintyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Toscano in the 40th minute of play forced La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Marciano Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Pires in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Toscano came free, but Marciano Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Amaral in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Telo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Claudinho Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Quintyn. La Pachorra LSF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 57th minute, Claudinho Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Grêmio 20 Julho booed when La Pachorra LSF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Eduino's late challenge caught a Grêmio 20 Julho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Eduino helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Téo Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marciano Quintyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliciano Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Grêmio 20 Julho getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Téo Pires hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Jacobo Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Pires in the 71st minute of the match. Marciano Quintyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Florinio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Adolfo de Andrade during the 80th minute. When Valdemar de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio 20 Julho's protests and gave Valdemar de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Grêmio 20 Julho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The Grêmio 20 Julho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
