After 6 minutes, Eriberto Tancredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crottos Crotters F.C. and the Rank 1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelio Ramond made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Conny Vesterberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, John Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Rambert in the 8th minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Antonini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Eriberto Tancredo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Leandro Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fabiano Antonini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aurelio Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Moralez in the 34th minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Lindgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Aurelio Ramond made a huge save. Aurelio Ramond was a little too slow when Dick Lindgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aurelio Ramond made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dick Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Rank 1's Dick Lindgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Ramond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Rank 1's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Moralez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Rambert, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Sebastián Rambert might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastián Rambert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Sebastián Rambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Aurelio Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Antonini in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Valiente got free with Marcus Hagström in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Jacinto Sazon was substituted for Eriberto Espiridion. Fredric Åhman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Conny Vesterberg fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rank 1's protests and gave Conny Vesterberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Vesterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Valiente to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Rank 1's Marcus Hagström got control of the ball when Hugo Moralez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rank 1! When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Jacinto Sazon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcus Hagström. 89 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dick Lindgren came free, but Aurelio Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Crottos Crotters F.C.'s zone, Fabiano Antonini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Ramond came out of the goal and Fabiano Antonini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Björn Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rank 1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crottos Crotters F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Björn Skog hit a great ball. Aurelio Ramond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Antonini in the 99th minute of play.
