Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogenis Priovolos started the match with the kick off. Thrasivoulos Moisiadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Marco van Basten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Papagiotopoulos. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco van Basten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Dobromir Zagrodny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thrasivoulos Moisiadis in the 10th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Tróia. Manoel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Christoforos Tochouroglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Neuer having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Serginho Sabóia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Papagiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Durval de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Papagiotopoulos having to interfere. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Xu Li Sang sped through ΠΑΟΚ FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Thomas Papagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco van Basten in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Tróia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Anestis Kapataidakis hit a great ball. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Marco van Basten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco van Basten really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. In the 42nd minute, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Sabóia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Papagiotopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Serginho Sabóia slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 44th minute.

Thomas Papagiotopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Li Sang went, in the 50th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 54 minutes, Stavros Symeonatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the Jovens Democratas MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Marco van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Thomas Papagiotopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xu Li Sang's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dobromir Zagrodny in the 65th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thomas Papagiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thomas Papagiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 67th minute of the match. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 76 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco van Basten came free, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Papagiotopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 83rd minute, Anestis Kapataidakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Papagiotopoulos. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Medeiros in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Papagiotopoulos saved ΠΑΟΚ FC from getting behind. In the 89th minute Marco van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Papagiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jovens Democratas MZC fully deserved thier win.
