A nice corner shot did that Piotr Hatman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chiquinho Vasconcelos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Damazy Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Piotr Hatman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneteria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piotr Hatman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piotr Hatman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chiquinho Vasconcelos having to make a save. In the 24th minute Piotr Hatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Hatman came free, but Chiquinho Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Piotr Hatman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chiquinho Vasconcelos. Piotr Hatman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Botafogo AP defense, Damazy Raschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Vasconcelos. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Piotr Hatman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiquinho Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Yuan Bang in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Luís Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Moneteria booed when Botafogo AP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mai Yuan Bang came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Moneteria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mai Yuan Bang couldn't finish the play. If Damazy Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. Chiquinho Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Hatman in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piotr Hatman in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Damazy Raschke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiquinho Vasconcelos was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Botafogo AP's Mané Souza was substituted for Clóvis das Neves. A collision led to Moneteria getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mai Yuan Bang hit a great ball. When Zachary Bartochowski fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moneteria's protests and gave Zachary Bartochowski a yellow card for diving instead. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Humberto Maia replaced André Luís Trigo. Zachary Bartochowski was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moneteria fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Botafogo AP's Eriberto Esteves got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cyprian Wojtkiewicz. Botafogo AP's Chiquinho Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Hatman in the 98th minute of play.
