Arthur Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Alb in the 5th minute of play. Dacians Academy's Horea Barbosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. Arthur Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Capisizu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Marius Capisizu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ismael das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutch's protests and gave Ismael das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Niculae Alb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Amorim came out of the goal and Niculae Alb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Horea Barbosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacians Academy's Horea Barbosu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Dacians Academy from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Augustin Oltean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Amorim came out of the goal and Augustin Oltean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marius Capisizu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zé Pedro Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Victor de Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horea Barbosu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 42 played minutes Dacians Academy got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Ecobici. Horea Barbosu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Thiago de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the game, Toader Ghercioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dacians Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flying Dutch the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Toader Ghercioiu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Fonseca got free with Horea Barbosu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the game, Ismael das Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horea Barbosu. Ismael das Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Niculae Alb's late challenge caught a Flying Dutch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Alb helped the player get up and apologised. Niculae Alb hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Osmar Mattos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Valer Logofeteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dacians Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Valer Logofeteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Souza to maneuver through the defense. Horea Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Montenegro in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Zé Pedro Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A hard shot by Marius Capisizu from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Arthur Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 79 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Thiago de Mendonça. Tiago Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Barbosu having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Victor de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Horea Barbosu. Dacians Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Flying Dutch were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dacians Academy for a fine match.
