In the 40th minute, Roland Záhoran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roland Záhoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandu Hârșu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Záhoran in the 42nd minute of the match. Sandu Hârșu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Sârban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CF REALCipri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFK Petržalka were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Eusebiu Cînu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roland Záhoran notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CF REALCipri's Sandu Hârșu. Sandu Hârșu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pompiliu Sabău during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CF REALCipri's Pompiliu Sabău got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Roland Záhoran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF REALCipri's Sandu Hârșu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Mário Sauer. Sandu Hârșu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Záhoran in the 76th minute of play. Sandu Hârșu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Záhoran went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goalkeeper Sandu Hârșu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Záhoran. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after CF REALCipri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miroslav Cupka took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Miroslav Cupka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sandu Hârșu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandu Hârșu. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFK Petržalka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
