But to his dismay, Jun Osborne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Pietruzzu Rizzi came free, but Neville Smythe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jun Osborne might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neville Smythe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jun Osborne ran back to his position shaking his head. Neville Smythe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jun Osborne in the 9th minute of play. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jun Osborne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Neville Smythe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Le Ao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Jun Osborne notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Jun Osborne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neville Smythe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Pietruzzu Rizzi took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jun Osborne took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neville Smythe. In the 30thth minute of the game Jun Osborne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Johannesburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PICCOLE PESTI the free kick. The supporters of FC Johannesburg booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Jun Osborne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes FC Johannesburg got a freekick which was hit by Ruan Botha. In the 48th minute, Chu Le Ao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neville Smythe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The FC Johannesburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PICCOLE PESTI were winning 0-8.

Jun Osborne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Neville Smythe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Jun Osborne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jun Osborne, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Jun Osborne came free, but Neville Smythe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neville Smythe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. PICCOLE PESTI made a substitution. Bianco Spinelli replaced Pietruzzu Rizzi. 78 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ferrante came free, but Neville Smythe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Le Ao, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Emilio Ferrante took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 86 minutes into the game, PICCOLE PESTI's Bernabe Urki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Neville Smythe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Emilio Ferrante scored 0-13 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neville Smythe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neville Smythe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ferrante, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Chu Le Ao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Ferrante in the 97th minute of play. Neville Smythe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Le Ao in the 98th minute of the match. The FC Johannesburg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PICCOLE PESTI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
