A hard shot 4 in the game by Ildefonso Frascuelo from a close distance when the talented Neville Smythe managed to make a qualified save. FC Johannesburg's players were relieved. 7 minutes into the game, Toni Nenchev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Neville Smythe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, Henk-Jan Fortuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Johannesburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. Ildefonso Frascuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Neville Smythe made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Ildefonso Frascuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neville Smythe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Neville Smythe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Seyfullah in the 17th minute of play. Neville Smythe was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Toni Nenchev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toni Nenchev really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Neville Smythe came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Ildefonso Frascuelo. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Frascuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. FC Johannesburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ildefonso Frascuelo scored to the left of an out of position Neville Smythe, making the score, 5-0. Neville Smythe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayındır Seyfullah hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Brandon Liau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Frascuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Brandon Liau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Toni Nenchev notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FC Johannesburg's Neville Smythe. Neville Smythe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Johannesburg booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Arnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. DARAS made a substitution. Dilyan Mrúnkov replaced Ildefonso Frascuelo. In the 70th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Ruan Botha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Johannesburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. DARAS's Dragolyub Novakov was substituted for Bayındır Seyfullah. In the 80th match minute, FC Johannesburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruan Botha to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Dilyan Mrúnkov sped through FC Johannesburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Neville Smythe. After 89 minutes of play, DARAS's Toni Nenchev made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Neville Smythe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 97 played minutes FC Johannesburg got a freekick which was hit by Henk-Jan Fortuin. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DARAS fully deserved thier win.
