In the 5th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Farias in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Valadares in the 13th minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Teo Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Ribeiro in the 15th minute of play. Amauri Pernambucano lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Villa La Perla booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Nilton Campidelis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cristian Farias hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sílvio Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Inocencio Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sílvio Antunes made a huge save. When Vinícius Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Carneiro couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Farias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Antunes. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Justino Arnalt got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Claudinei Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Ferrari's protests and gave Claudinei Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Paraibano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Farias was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Farias scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justino Arnalt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Zeledon Abalos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Valadares. S.C. Ferrari's Sílvio Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Farias in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Villa La Perla getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Silvio Umbruso hit a great ball. If Vinícius Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justino Arnalt fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa La Perla's protests and gave Justino Arnalt a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Justino Arnalt. Sílvio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Antunes having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Claudinei Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Cristian Farias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa La Perla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
