In the 16th minute Zenaido Baz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when ............ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Bayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Aubets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Pupăzan in the 22nd minute of play forced ............'s goalkeeper Javier Aubets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, ............'s goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Itoafă came free, but Javier Aubets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ............'s Javier Aubets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Burdujan in the 25th minute of play. ............'s Javier Aubets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Itoafă in the 27th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Borza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Aubets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javier Aubets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Itoafă in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ............'s zone, Traian Lupescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Aubets came out of the goal and Traian Lupescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Irinel Itoafă to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, ............'s goalkeeper Javier Aubets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Burdujan. If Ovidiu Borza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Aubets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Itoafă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irinel Itoafă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidiu Borza struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Javier Aubets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. 88 minutes into the match, ............'s goalkeeper Javier Aubets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Burdujan. Manuel Burdujan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ............'s Fabricio Bayo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Manuel Burdujan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Javier Aubets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. The ............ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stiinta-Univ. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
