The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Jarmulowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd minute, Zachariasz Jarmulowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Blizne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute Irinel Itoafă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Awizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Awizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Zachariasz Jarmulowicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silviu Lung was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 11 played minutes KS Blizne got a freekick which was hit by Artur Misiorowski. Mihai Niță hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maxim Dragalina hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, KS Blizne's Zachariasz Jarmulowicz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Silviu Lung made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zachariasz Jarmulowicz sent off a good shot on target. Zachariasz Jarmulowicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Silviu Lung skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Awizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 39th minute of play. Silviu Lung made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Miroslaw Gargasz sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Irinel Itoafă made the kick off in the second half. Irinel Itoafă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Daniel Awizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxim Dragalina struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Daniel Awizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Gargasz in the 72nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Burdujan could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Daniel Awizo however easily saved by the left post. Manuel Burdujan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Daniel Awizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boleslaw Merski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Lung having to interfere.
