Pendex's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fritz Busk ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Mino Buenaga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A nice corner shot did that Fritz Busk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Orlandus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over Mete y Raspa FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pendex throughout the match.
