Manoel Loarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. Manoel Loarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Mantorras went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Pedro Mantorras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manoel Loarte. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manoel Loarte should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Sacramento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Pedro Mantorras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mantorras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo Bentes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lucas Luis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Manoel Loarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Mantorras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Manoel Loarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Mantorras. Manoel Loarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Mantorras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Pedro Mantorras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Loarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Manoel Loarte made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Pedro Mantorras sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amável Rangel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Amável Rangel hit a great ball. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Moutinho in the 70th minute of play. Terceirense F.C.'s Gregório Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucas Luis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Lucas Luis a yellow card for diving instead. Gregório Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Manoel Loarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Rui Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Luis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manoel Loarte. That made the score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Terceirense F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
