With an all-out effort, Brow Team's Diamantino Catarinense threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Jaraczewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristobal Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Figueiredo in the 20th minute of play. When Rômulo de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guará FC's protests and gave Rômulo de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. Rômulo de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Jaraczewski in the 26th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo de Sena in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Rômulo de Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guará FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Feliks Wielowiejski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Catarinense came out of the goal and Feliks Wielowiejski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Brow Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Kisiel to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Rômulo de Sena made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brow Team's Cristobal Quevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Eger. After 40 minutes Guará FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karol Gurgul who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ivo Figueiredo sped through Brow Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristobal Quevedo. Diamantino Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Jaraczewski in the 45th minute of the match. When Ivo Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Guará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The Brow Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guará FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rômulo de Sena was the one to do the kick off. Rômulo de Sena hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Brow Team's Cristobal Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. Guará FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivo Figueiredo in the 54th minute. Eliézer Eger spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Brow Team's goal. 64 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Figueiredo came free, but Cristobal Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Quevedo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rômulo de Sena sent off a good shot on target. Radomil Gollob kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Rômulo de Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristobal Quevedo, 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Cristobal Quevedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rômulo de Sena hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Feliks Wielowiejski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Catarinense was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Eliézer Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Quevedo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Gino do Vale's late challenge caught a Brow Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. If Feliks Wielowiejski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Brow Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guará FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guará FC.
