The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Filippos Serametakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazil Sağlamtürk. The supporters of FC KALELİ booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Labiris didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 10th minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Filippos Serametakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Filippos Serametakis managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when FC KALELİ's Nazil Sağlamtürk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. MICE F.C.'s Filippos Serametakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save MICE F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Nazil Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KALELİ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Filippos Serametakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nazil Sağlamtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Azzaro got free with Filippos Serametakis in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, Şahin Sarduç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KALELİ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MICE F.C. the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petros Labiris during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC KALELİ booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Labiris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volkan Tokdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiros Pardalakis in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nazil Sağlamtürk made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippos Serametakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filippos Serametakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippos Serametakis saved MICE F.C. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nazil Sağlamtürk sped through MICE F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippos Serametakis. In the 58thth minute of the game Nazil Sağlamtürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MICE F.C.'s Filippos Serametakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MICE F.C.'s Filippos Serametakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 61st minute of play. Nazil Sağlamtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, FC KALELİ's Nazil Sağlamtürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippos Serametakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Nazil Sağlamtürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Aimilios Koupepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nazil Sağlamtürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KALELİ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazil Sağlamtürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippos Serametakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, FC KALELİ's Nazil Sağlamtürk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filippos Serametakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Nazil Sağlamtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC KALELİ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
