The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Elixio. 4 minutes into the match, Emanuel Diaz de León notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Metapalo FC's Martinez Dibusz. Martinez Dibusz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Metapalo FC's Martinez Dibusz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Ping in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Ledesma. If Narcomillo Parot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dong Ping's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martinez Dibusz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Oscar Inge hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Barrabases de Victoria's Bairon Galarce quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anatole Gaulier, made in the 27th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Anatole Gaulier with Pascual Rambert as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Leonides Ledesma got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Martinez Dibusz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Metapalo FC's Martinez Dibusz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Alzerreca in the 34th minute of play. Martinez Dibusz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcomillo Parot in the 35th minute of the match. Narcomillo Parot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcomillo Parot in the 45th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Martinez Dibusz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Oscar Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dong Ping stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mai Ling Peng charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mai Ling Peng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Barrabases de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poulus Chao to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Barrabases de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Elixio came free, but Guntademaro Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martinez Dibusz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcomillo Parot in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Inge. When Barrabases de Victoria's Narcomillo Parot in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metapalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 64 minutes, Narcomillo Parot made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Metapalo FC's Martinez Dibusz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Oscar Inge hit a great ball. The referee ignored Metapalo FC's protests and gave Dario Chuse a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barrabases de Victoria booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dinç Terzioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinç Terzioğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martinez Dibusz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martinez Dibusz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanio Quilodrán in the 78th minute of play. Martinez Dibusz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tanio Quilodrán sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Metapalo FC defense, Tanio Quilodrán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martinez Dibusz. The Metapalo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martinez Dibusz should have stopped the shot. After 87 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Atauri. 89 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Martinez Dibusz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Agnese. With 95 minutes on the clock, Mai Ling Peng commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match was over Barrabases de Victoria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Metapalo FC throughout the match.
