Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarle Westby started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Pablo-Enrique Oneca got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Jarle Westby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarle Westby in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Long Yuan De had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarle Westby. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Westby in the 15th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Long Yuan De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. Erland Risdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Long Yuan De was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarle Westby showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Durmuş Öner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarle Westby in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Yuan De prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Suleskard fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Suleskard's Jarle Westby looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Long Yuan De made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jarle Westby sent off a good shot on target. Jarle Westby might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Long Yuan De. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarle Westby ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Jarle Westby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Yuan De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Risdal got free with Long Yuan De in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durmuş Öner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Long Yuan De made a huge save. The corner led to Suleskard's Vladimiro Emesto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pablo-Enrique Oneca kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Suleskard's Jarle Westby got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zarando Eguizabal to make the kick off. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rodney Cosca hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarle Westby in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Yuan De saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Arce in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarle Westby in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Yuan De saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarle Westby in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Yuan De saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Long Yuan De was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Westby in the 67th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Long Yuan De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Long Yuan De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Risdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Suleskard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Dani Galiana took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ådne Østvang to make any attempt to save it. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarle Westby in the 78th minute of play. Long Yuan De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarle Westby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Yuan De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durmuş Öner in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute Jarle Westby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Yuan De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Suleskard's Jarle Westby in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astillero del Guayas's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodney Cosca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ådne Østvang. That made the score 4-2 in the 91 minute of play.
