Hendrik Adriaanse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Sauveur in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Herminio Santo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Koos Keupink made a precise shot to the right of Cortez Obispo. Sportivo Mela Banco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kristian Roswinkel's late challenge caught a Sportivo Mela Banco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
