AD Pontassolense's Renato Alves managed to work through Maní FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Renato Alves dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 25th minute, Christian Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Alves came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Branco took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Terciero. Higinio Terciero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fernando Portela struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Higinio Terciero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Pontassolense. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gervásio Anjos hit a great ball. Lorenzo Henrico took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Castanheira. Afonso Castanheira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 44 minutes of play, AD Pontassolense's Fernando Portela made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Terciero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Christian Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Branco in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Honorio Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Castanheira having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Arthur Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD Pontassolense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maní FC the free kick. After 53 played minutes AD Pontassolense got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Branco. Renato Alves struck a weak shot in the 59th minute.
