Afonso Castanheira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kurtuluş Öğeturk. Arda Güler kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Edvin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Alves in the 6th minute of the match. Edoardo Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Castanheira having to interfere. Afonso Castanheira came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pasin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Afonso Castanheira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Çinuçin in the 17th minute of play. Kurtuluş Öğeturk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Castanheira having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Sílvio Luís Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senator S.A.K and the AD Pontassolense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Nogueira. In the 24th minute Renato Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play Senator S.A.K's Sílvio Luís Nogueira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sílvio Luís Nogueira hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Afonso Castanheira was a little too slow when Edoardo Pasin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Alves in the 32nd minute of play. Álvaro Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álvaro Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Edoardo Pasin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. AD Pontassolense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Álvaro Carvalho in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Kurtuluş Öğeturk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Senator S.A.K fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Alves to make the kick off. Afonso Castanheira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Pasin in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Edoardo Pasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Castanheira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Pasin in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Castanheira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edoardo Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Castanheira having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Sancarbey Çinuçin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Afonso Castanheira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Castanheira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Edoardo Pasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Senator S.A.K's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
