In the 15th minute, Igor Sanchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toby Dransfield was the one to do the kick off. Simão Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toby Dransfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Sanchez came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simão Duarte could save by the left post. In the 56th minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Igor Sanchez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simão Duarte. Simão Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Simão Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quentin Lennon in the 59th minute. Igor Sanchez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-7 in the 64th playminute. 69 minutes into the game, Breno Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Sidney Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Simão Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ricart Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Igor Sanchez charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
