Paul Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benvide Cercalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zabal Bucaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Dransfield in the 18th minute of the match. Mark Rider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zabal Bucaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Mark Rider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisburn Distillery F.C. and the RAMBO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mark Rider. The audience cheered when Eate Lamota's long shot passed Paul Ahlbom's right side. It was 3-1, 43 minutes into the match. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Sanchez in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran got control of the ball when Toby Dransfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cezary Gdowik's late challenge caught a RAMBO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Gdowik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Cezary Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lisburn Distillery F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RAMBO FC.
