Disco Inferno FC's Dakota Coote played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ernst in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Patrice Arlot got a free kick in the 11th minute. Félicien Boucard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Ayrton went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The tension between the R.C. Marseille and the Disco Inferno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Mickael Pagias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Félicien Boucard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Gorham in the 28th minute of the match. Corentin Joye's late challenge caught a Disco Inferno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corentin Joye helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dakota Coote had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Ernst. After the first half Disco Inferno FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Ernst to make the kick off. Dakota Coote showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ernst in the 50th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Disco Inferno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Favas to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ernst came free, but Dakota Coote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cléberson Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Disco Inferno FC's protests and gave Cléberson Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. Cléberson Veiga hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Disco Inferno FC's zone, Mickael Pagias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dakota Coote came out of the goal and Mickael Pagias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disco Inferno FC's Bradley Gorham got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rayanne Meslier hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Disco Inferno FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
