Marseille booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Bruno Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félicien Boucard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Bergendahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Félicien Boucard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Kevan Gouverneur got a free kick in the 29th minute. Johannes Bergendahl in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Félicien Boucard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Pagias in the 41st minute of play forced Warberg FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Warberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ernst came free, but Lars-Erik Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Warberg FC's Lars-Erik Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ernst in the 57th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, R.C. Marseille's Bruno Ernst made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars-Erik Pettersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honoré Lottin during the 61st minute. The corner ended in Honoré Lottin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Warberg FC's Lars-Erik Pettersson did a great save. Bruno Ernst succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Mickael Pagias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Pettersson. Warberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mickael Pagias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 76th play minute Mickael Pagias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lars-Erik Pettersson. 0-6. In the 80th minute, Honoré Lottin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Félicien Boucard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Bergendahl in the 81st minute of the match. Lars-Erik Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ernst in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Mickael Pagias notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Warberg FC's Lars-Erik Pettersson. Lars-Erik Pettersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars-Erik Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ernst in the 95th minute of the match. The Warberg FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. R.C. Marseille were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
