After 3 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Dionísio. After 5 minutes, Bruno Ernst made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Pagias, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. R.C. Marseille were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Pindorama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honoré Lottin took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ernst in the 15th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pindorama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guilherme Duarte in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on Pindorama's corner Guilherme Duarte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Félicien Boucard quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Ernst in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes of play, Pindorama's Conrado Qwinton made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Félicien Boucard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pindorama's Nelsinho Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Conrado Qwinton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Félicien Boucard, passed just outside the right post. Nelsinho Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Félicien Boucard having to interfere. Conrado Qwinton's late challenge caught a R.C. Marseille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Qwinton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Ernst in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Duarte saved Pindorama from getting behind. Conrado Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Félicien Boucard having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the game Quentin Escudié made a throw-in which Bruno Ernst played forward. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kevan Gouverneur hit a great ball. Hortêncio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ernst in the 42nd minute of the match. When R.C. Marseille's Bruno Ernst in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindorama's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Bruno Ernst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hortêncio Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half R.C. Marseille were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Pindorama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Marques to maneuver through the defense. If Honoré Lottin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Félicien Boucard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Dionísio in the 55th minute of play. Patrice Arlot hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Conrado Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félicien Boucard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ernst in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickael Pagias got free with Hortêncio Duarte in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte got control of the ball when Mickael Pagias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Félicien Boucard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. R.C. Marseille's Félicien Boucard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Meira in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Nelsinho Meira made a precise shot to the right of Félicien Boucard. R.C. Marseille's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The throw-in from Quentin Escudié in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pindorama's Douglas Dionísio. R.C. Marseille were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Pindorama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honoré Lottin took the corner. Honoré Lottin made a great header on R.C. Marseille's corner, it was just that Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tião Lago hit a great ball. Quentin Escudié made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bruno Ernst however managed to control. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Patrice Arlot got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Nelsinho Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Pindorama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
