New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fletcher Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of New England Minas booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Ernst didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fletcher Lund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Félicien Boucard. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Fletcher Lund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Félicien Boucard made a huge save. Félicien Boucard was a little too slow when Fletcher Lund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. Bruno Ernst scored 3-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Gol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Fletcher Lund could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Félicien Boucard however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 42 minutes, Fletcher Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Ernst to strike the kick off in the second half. Segundo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ernst, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jacques Stovall kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Segundo Gol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Wendling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corentin Joye got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mickael Pagias. Fletcher Lund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Félicien Boucard. R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wilfredo Middleton hit a great ball. Brice Wang hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickael Pagias got free with Segundo Gol in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mickael Pagias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Segundo Gol made a huge save. In the 76th minute Bruno Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Fletcher Lund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Félicien Boucard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacques Stovall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Félicien Boucard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Middleton to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Wilfredo Middleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fletcher Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Félicien Boucard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
