Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SLB TELHA's Aristides Espírito Santo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Cristian Aurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAZER SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLB TELHA the free kick. In the 7th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Aurre to maneuver through the defense. Héctor Hernández received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Esteves came out and tried to block the shot, but Héctor Hernández slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Igor Coronado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Esteves having to make a save. Aristides Espírito Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Toninho Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avelino Madruga's late challenge caught a MAZER SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avelino Madruga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avelino Madruga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Santana in the 22nd minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Toninho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Bidon hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Guterres didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Avelino Madruga hit a great ball. Manuel Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Romero in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Thiago Motta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Coronado to strike the kick off in the second half. Ángel Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the SLB TELHA defense, Ángel Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Esteves. The SLB TELHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Esteves should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pinhal in the 57th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Toninho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Marco Pinhal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Avelino Madruga. Manuel Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Romero in the 67th minute of the match. Toninho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Santana in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's João Nascimento got a free kick in the 71st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in SLB TELHA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for MAZER SAF. Ángel Romero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Esteves. 4-0. Toninho Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When SLB TELHA's Aristides Espírito Santo in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAZER SAF's goalie prevented a goal. Manuel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ángel Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Balsemão's late challenge caught a MAZER SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Balsemão helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Balsemão. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Thiago Motta hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, Simão Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Manuel Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SLB TELHA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
