The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Isidro Valverde got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Wiatrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Norbert Kalemba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Araya in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Borowski in the 10th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Hoffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziemowit Wiatrak in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Volio saved CS La Libertad from getting behind. KANONIERZY's Norbert Kalemba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KANONIERZY from getting a goal against them. Isidro Valverde came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Norbert Kalemba could save by the left post. After 34 minutes, Sebastian Dziechciowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KANONIERZY and the CS La Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Dziechciowski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Gabriel Araya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Kalemba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Gabriel Araya got a free kick in the 41st minute. Isidro Valverde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Norbert Kalemba firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Mariusz Liberko got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Inocencio Palma was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. KANONIERZY's Ziemowit Wiatrak got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CS La Libertad's Omar Volio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Wiatrak in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to KANONIERZY getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bernard Borowski hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, CS La Libertad's Herberto Sancho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norbert Kalemba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CS La Libertad reached it. Omar Volio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Oryl in the 67th minute of play. Omar Volio made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Zygmunt Tworek sent off a good shot on target. Omar Volio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Wiatrak in the 70th minute of the match. CS La Libertad's Brandon Aguilera was substituted for Isidro Valverde. Bernard Borowski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes, Igor Hoffman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KANONIERZY and the CS La Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
