With a little luck, Valhalla F.C.'s Franciszek Rasialdo got control of the ball when Nikos Micheloudakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pagos FC's Franciszek Rasialdo threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikos Micheloudakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furtado Pellon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valhalla F.C.'s Franciszek Rasialdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theofilos Stamatis in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Periandros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Penilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kostas Periandros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franciszek Rasialdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Giannakidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 王益邦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Periandros having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Antonio Rüdiger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Penilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Periandros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Penilla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Marcelo Penilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Periandros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Penilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Periandros was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Valhalla F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theofilos Stamatis to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Penilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Periandros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Penilla ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Valhalla F.C.'s Alexandro Gattuso got a free kick in the 57th minute. Valhalla F.C.'s Franciszek Rasialdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Tsigas in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giorgos Tsigas in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Rasialdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaggelis Giannakidis scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franciszek Rasialdo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Marcelo Penilla made a precise shot to the right of Kostas Periandros. Pagos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Periandros came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla. But to his dismay, Marcelo Penilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 77th minute of the match, Marcelo Penilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kostas Periandros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goalkeeper Kostas Periandros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 王益邦. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Penilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Periandros was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Penilla came free, but Kostas Periandros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valhalla F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
