The supporters of La Panchera booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Barone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Roland Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Boon came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fulvio Patricelli could save by the left post. The La Panchera fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when La Panchera's Roland Boon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute Attilio Riccardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NAPOLI were awarded a corner. Ciccio Moscatelli went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ciccio Moscatelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santo Dimo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aaron Medardo's late challenge caught a S.S.C. NAPOLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Medardo helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Harri in the 52nd minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Fulvio Patricelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Javier Pastore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulvio Patricelli. A wasted opportunity for La Panchera. 89 minutes into the match, La Panchera's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Giannotti came free, but Santo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Frank Carlucci made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Dimo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, La Panchera's Santo Dimo got control of the ball when Adriano Giannotti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santo Dimo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Frank Carlucci sent off a good shot on target.
