After 18 played minutes, Sportivo Luan Toro's Ramiro Modestio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christoffer Dahlquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Luan Toro reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Östman in the 24th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Dahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Guillelmo in the 32nd minute. Joaquin Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Högström in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Walmarsson in the 35th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Rumaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Isac Walmarsson took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Mingo. After 44 minutes of play, Newcastle United F.C.'s Isac Walmarsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Mingo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 53 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Lindman. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Joaquin Mingo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 65 minutes into the game, Isac Walmarsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Mingo. Isac Walmarsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 67 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bank. In the 71st match minute, Newcastle United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Guillelmo in the 72nd minute of play forced Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper Christoffer Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquin Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Walmarsson in the 88th minute of play. Christian Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Newcastle United F.C. played a much better game than Sportivo Luan Toro and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Luan Toro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
