The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albino Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Janko Kaplan made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Mingo. Sportivo Luan Toro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Kaplan in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Christian Guillelmo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armen Werthein was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Mingo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben-Ami Amran's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Albino Maties charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Maties the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Maties to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoash Coppel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben-Ami Amran in the 22nd minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Ben-Ami Amran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Eduardo Muno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armen Werthein skillfully saved the ball. When Albino Maties was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Albino Maties hit a great ball. Joaquin Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Amran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janko Kaplan in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Rumaldo made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Christian Guillelmo. Jett Sonnenfeld's late challenge caught a Sportivo Luan Toro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jett Sonnenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Jett Sonnenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Ramiro Modestio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and G.R.'s Armen Werthein didn't even have to move. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Kaplan in the 57th minute of play. Joel Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to G.R. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Janko Kaplan hit a great ball. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joel Rumaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zion Mauda hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Joaquin Mingo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Joaquin Mingo was a little too slow when Janko Kaplan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-3. Sportivo Luan Toro's Christian Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, G.R.'s Janko Kaplan got a free kick in the 84th minute. Joaquin Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janko Kaplan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G.R. played a much better game than Sportivo Luan Toro and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Luan Toro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
