An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Prado in the 20th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Antonio Di Gennaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Cafu Amaral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Edvaldo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diego Barbato fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seggiano's protests and gave Diego Barbato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Barbato to maneuver through the defense. Cafu Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Giammaria in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Seggiano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
